Let me fall. Let me descend

Let me fall

Let me descend
I fight it by doing this
Or holding onto that.
Hope for this.
Tell myself that.
What if this
Why can’t that.
Let me fall
Let me descend.
Like an acorn falling from a tree
Cracked, on the ground
Picked up by a crow,
Who drops it with a “caw”
Into the ocean
Making ripples….
